At Lindsell Art Gallery we are custom picture framers and the work is carried out in our own workshop.
In the early 1980s Judy Garrett (gallery partner with her husband John) could not get her own paintings framed satisfactorily. Leave it to us, they said, we'll do you a good job. And they didn't. So she started to frame her own pictures. Fellow artists came to her for their framing and she displayed a few of their paintings – and so began Lindsell Art Gallery.
The framing workshop is off the gallery and our excellent framer, Hayley, frames paintings, prints, needlework, photos, football shirts, stretches and frames canvasses and does whatever else our customers bring along – and she does it beautifully.
Our prices are competitive, all our glazed framing is sealed against insects and the work is usually ready in a week.
