Established in 1992, Lindsell Art Gallery shows and sells landscape, wildlife, flower, still life and figure paintings, prints and phoroggraphy, unique jewellery and crafts, greetings cards, picture framing and life drawing. The gallery, with its framing workshop, is situated the beautiful north-west Essex countryside and yet is only nine miles from Stansted Airport. Lots of paintings, lots of gifts, lots to look at, lots to buy, Lindsell Art Gallery Gift Vouchers are also available . . . and NO VAT!
Local and regional artists We show and sell the work of more than 50 artists and craftspeople in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Admission is free and all prices are clearly shown, ranging from a only few pounds for a small painting or craft item to three, possibly four, figures for larger items and we accept all the popular credit and debit cards. Or you may wish to commission a portrait or scene from one of our artists. And, of course, you will be offered coffee while you browse.

Winter has arrived with about 4 inches of snow on 5th February. The B184 and B1057 should be gritted as should 'our' road, right through from the Art Gallery sign on the B184, past us, and on to the Art Gallery sign on the B1057. If you are in doubt, phone us first.
Our WINTER TONIC is now on with a brilliant collection of paintings and prints, jewellery, bronzes, painted, fused and engraved glass, turned wood – and lots more, and it runs until 15th March.
Drop-in to Life Drawing in the gallery, every Thursday evening from 7.30 to 9.30.
There is still 10% off all Picture Framing (as long as the work is collected within two weeks of the agreed date and paid for by credit/debit card or cash) and . . . remember, there is NO VAT on anything at Lindsell Art Gallery!
And finally. Coffee for charity. The total raised by our visitors is now about £8600 and the three collecting tins are filling up again.
